Insurance Continuing Education (CE) Program was designed by the Paulmar Group LLC Principals and approved by the California Department of Insurance under the Class Provider No. 373001. This program is strictly limited to Insurance Trust Accounting Education.

Paulmar Group is a privately-owned Southern California-based software company with main office in Orange County, CA. Paulmar Group founders have broad experience in the day-to-day management of insurance premium funds, operations management, expert knowledge of trust accounting and trust financial solvency management as well as analysis and software development.
As the independent agency system becomes more efficient and more profitable, tighter controls over premium fiduciary funds will reassure insurance carriers and regulators trust funds are adequately managed in accordance with Insurance Code mandates. Paulmar has dedicated significant resources and years of research to achieve these goals.
Our vision of the P&C insurance brokerage industry has three objectives in focus:
- Enable P&C insurance agencies to outsource their trust accounting and financial solvency management and re-organize themselves into standard sales and service operations;
- Help agencies focus their resources exclusively on sales and service;
- Establish a uniform reporting system of premium financial solvency throughout the independent insurance agency system.
Paulmar Group believes a new management culture is on the horizon in the independent agency system. More research and development are currently underway to integrate premium management operations of the industry’s three major players: retailers, general managing agents (GMAs) and carriers. The goal is to render the independent agency system highly efficient and prevent premium financial insolvencies.

On November 7, 2017 Chris Marinescu and Emma Hart were granted by the US Patent & Trademark Office Patent No. 9,811, 863 B1 on insurance trust accounting and financial solvency reporting system.
The Paulmar Trust Accounting Education Program focuses on information regarding the trust accounting practice in the P&C insurance retailing industry. Such information is provided in colleges or in textbooks.
Although mandated by law P&C insurance trust is not recognized in practice. Premium trust funds are physically separated in trust bank accounts but are not financially managed as trust funds different from business operating funds.
CE classes are currently available in California only. They will be gradually registered in other states. They are two-hour classes and earn 2 CE credits each. They are currently offered in class setting (live classes) as well as webinars.
